Before Alice came to Wonderland, there were three kingdoms locked in conflict. While the Red and White Kingdoms kept up a barely contained Cold War, The Black Kingdom, unobvious as it was, was ignored and misvalued. Citizens of the Black Kingdom would be treated as vagrants or worse. Seeing no logical benefit to the continuation of the plight of his subjects, or the conflicts generated between Queens, the Black King hatched a plan to unite the Kingdoms and end the strife in Wonderland. A plan that we know backfired horribly. A Queen would have to be molded into the perfect bride, and the other broken by war. The King first tried to mold the Red Queen, beginning a web of corruption, but she was swayed to easily controlled by her own emotions to be perfect, so he cast her aside and began his scheming for the White Queen instead. Now the White Queen is missing, and the Red Queen is turning jade green.
